MAKHACHKALA, Dagestan, July 26 (Itar-Tass) — A VAZ-2114 car has exploded in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, for unknown reasons. The bodies of three men were found in the passenger compartment.
A representative of the Russian Investigative Committee for Dagestan told Itar-Tass that the blast had occurred at around 22:00 Moscow time. The identity of the dead is being established.
The source didn’t rule out that a self-made bomb had been transported in the car’s passenger compartment.
