MOSCOW, July 26 (Itar-Tass) —— The Basmanny District Court of Moscow refused to oblige the investigators to give back to Ksenia Sobchak the money and the foreign travel passport, which were confiscated from her under the criminal case on the disorders in the Bolotnaya Square in Moscow on May 6. Thus, Judge Irina Skuridina did not satisfy an appeal of Sobchak’s lawyers.

Three lawyers, including head of the Moscow City Bar Chamber Genri Reznik, defended Sobchak in court. However, the court session passed without the anchorwoman and a representative of the prosecutor’s office, who asked to try the appeal without them.

During the search the funds to the tune of more than one million Euros, 480,000 dollars and 480,000 rubles were confiscated from Sobchak.
