GELENDZHIK, July 25 (Itar-Tass) — President Putin has declared at a conference devoted to problems of elimination of the aftermath of the Krasnodar floods that a program on resettlement of the population from the zone of floods in the Krasnodar region should submitted no later than August 1. The administration of the Krasnodar region jointly with the federal bodies of power should submit a program on resettlement of people to new, safe territories no later than August 1, Putin told the conference.
The president emphasized that all the operations connected with the involvement of construction companies should be conducted in the framework of the law, but carried out quickly. The funds earmarked for restoration and repairs should be used wisely and effectively, so that the people could move to new houses and apartments no later than in mid- November, the president said.
