PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, July 25 (Itar-Tass) — An earthquake with a maginitude of 5.2 has occurred in Kamcahtka's north-east. There has been no word about victims or damage, an official at the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences has told Itar-Tass.
The earth jolt was recorded at 09:25, Kamchatka time, on Wednesday. The epicenter of the quake was 118 km south-east of Tilichiki Settlement in Olyutorsky District of the Kamchatka Territory. The focus of the earthquake was at a depth of more than 53 km.
