KRASNODAR, July 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Krasnodar Territory’s delegation will not go to the London Olympics, the press service of the territorial administration said on Tuesday, citing a decision taken by Territory governor Alexander Tkachev.

“It was an important business trip for us. It might be a precious experience, since in just two years the city of Sochi will host the Olympic Games,” the governor said.

“We planned to send a small delegation to London to sign a number of agreements and see for ourselves who the work is organized in certain areas,” he noted.

“But today the most important thing for us is Krymsk. All the forces, all the officials have been summoned here. And we have one task to have the flood-destroyed city return to normal life as soon as possible,” Tkachev stressed.
