Two gunmen destroyed in Dagestan

MAKHACHKALA, July 24 (Itar-Tass) —— Two gunmen were destroyed in a special operation in the Khasavyurt district in Dagestan.

“Police and FSB commandoes blocked gunmen at about 06:00 Moscow time at a private house in Kostek,” a source in the Dagestani Investigation Department of the Russian Investigation Committee told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. The bandits were offered to lay down arms, but they opened fire in retaliation. Two gunmen were destroyed in the shootout. According to preliminary reports, a law enforcer was injured.
