Dushanbe, July 24 (Itar-Tass) —— The Tajik authorities intensify control over news Internet-resources. Following the restriction of the access to the site Centrtasia (registered on the territory of the Russian Federation), an access to the biggest in the republic independent Russian-language Internet-agency Asia-Plus was blocked. According to the information of Tajik lawyers, “they received a corresponding ordinance from leader of the governmental communications service Bek Zukhurov.”

Providers didn’t receive an official explanation of the causes for restricting the access to the news site. At the same time, as leader of the agency and independent observers believe, it is connected with the publication over the past two days of different versions of the murder General of the Tajik Secret Services Abdullo Nazarov, including in the interpretation of former Pamir field commanders of the opposition, their appeals to Tajik President Emomali Rakhmon to prevent the introduction of troops to the Pamirs.
