SOCHI, July 23 (Itar-Tass) — Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that first Agusta helicopters would be assembled at a plant in the Moscow region in November.

“A plant for the assembly of Agusta helicopters has been built in the Moscow region. The first helicopter will be made in November 2012,” Putin told a news conference after his talks with visiting Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti.

The Russian president also recalled that Russia and Italy were working on joint development of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional aircraft.
