MOSCOW, July 23 (Itar-Tass) — Bill collectors came under an armed attack in northeastern Moscow early on Monday, Moscow law enforcement officers report.
“Three people wearing masks attacked bill collectors in Academician Korolyov Street, 1, and grabbed a bag with money from them,” a source said, adding that one of the bill collectors had been wounded in the attack.
According to the source, the attackers rushed vanished from the scene on a foreign-made car, which was later found abandoned. All police patrols have received their identikit.
An investigation brigade works at the site. The amount of money seized is being established.
