KRYMSK /Krasnodar territory/, July 22 (Itar-Tass) —— Almost 140 truck convoys from Russia’s various regions carrying food, water and vital goods have arrived in the Krymsk region, which suffered most from the flood.
“For the local residents they have delivered 4,623 tonnes of humanitarian aid,” headquarters on elimination of the flood’s impact said on Sunday.
The local authorities and volunteers are doing everything possible to see everyone requiring aid receives it. To those unable to come, the aid is delivered to homes.
Another ten auto convoys are approaching Krymsk now. They are carrying 120 tonnes of humanitarian aid.
There are 50 free dining facilities in the Krymsk region. Every day they serve over 20,000 hot dishes. Besides, the local residents have received 1.5 million litres of bottled water.
