MOSCOW, July 22 (Itar-Tass) — A woman driver hit five people, including a small child, in the Moscow region on Saturday evening. All of them died, a source at the Moscow regional department of the State Inspectorate for the Safety of Road Traffic (GIBDD) told Itar-Tass.
The accident occurred near the Kupavna settlement in the Noginsk district of the Moscow region at 21:30 Moscow time.
“A woman driving a Land Rover hit five pedestrians who instantly died of injuries straight on the spot. One of the victims is a small child,” the source said.
The woman driver has been detained. Road traffic police are establishing the accident’s causes.
