MOSCOW, July 22 (Itar-Tass) — Up to 15 people staged a mass fight in Kislovodsk, a spa town in Russia’s southern Stavropol territory, on Saturday. Two people were killed and several other were injured, the press center of the Russian Interior Ministry reported on Saturday.

Police tend to believe that the incident was a domestic conflict.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated on charges of murdering two and more people.

“According to preliminary reports, three participants in the fight received numerous knife wounds. Two of the injured died on their way to a medical establishment. The third person is in intensive care at the central city hospital in Kislovodsk,” says a report posted on the website of the Russian Investigative Committee on Saturday.

“Three cartridge cases from a traumatic pistol were found at the scene. One participant in the fight has been detained,” the Russian Investigative Committee said.
