NALCHIK, July 21 (Itar-Tass) —— During a special operation in the forest area of Kabardino-Balkaria’s Baksan region, one militant was killed on Saturday.
There were no victims among the law enforcement forces involved, the local branch of Russia’s Investigative Committee reported.
“The special operation was organised by local police and security forces at about 02:30 Moscow time,” the source said. At the site, the police found two self-made grenades, a Makarov gun with 30 bullets. A criminal case on illegal use of weapons is opened.
The police is identifying the killed militant.
