KRASNOYARSK, July 19 (Itar-Tass) — A woman was hurt by the propeller of an An-24 airplane in Krasnoyarsk’s Cheremshanka airfield, a spokeswoman for the local administration of the Siberian transport police department told Itar-Tass on Thursday.
The woman, an aircraft cleaner, was working in the airfield when the An-24 started its engine. “She didn’t hear an aircraft technician’s warnings and was hurt by the propeller,” the spokeswoman said. The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries.
An investigation is underway.
