KRASNODAR, July 18 (Itar-Tass) — All disabled people in Krymsk where every second family was hit by the disastrous flood have received necessary rehabilitation equipment, the Social Security Fund’s regional office told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.

“Our specialists organized the work to deliver necessary rehabilitation equipment for disabled people to the place of their residence,” an official of the Fund said.

For instance, a wheelchair, which was swept away by the flood, has been given to Valentina Perkhun, a residence of the village of Nizhnebakansk. This is the oldest family in the village. The house was seriously flooded, but it stood out.

When specialists learnt about it, they urgently delivered a new wheelchair to Valentina Perkhun. Simultaneously they organized a mobile assistance centre for disabled people in Krymsk itself.

Thus, all disabled people, who asked for assistance (128 persons), received over 9,500 necessary rehabilitation equipment.
