NAZRAN, July 17 (Itar-Tass) — A special police force commander in Ingushetia’s Interior Ministry survived an assassination attempt, when an explosive device went off near his car, the republic’s Interior Ministry said on Tuesday.

Khusein Toldiyev left his home for work on a UAZ-469 armoured all terrain vehicle, when an explosive device planted in a road container went off in Ingushetia’s Nazran district.

Nobody was injured, while the vehicle was damaged.

An investigation is underway.
