Dmitry Rogozin to visit India

Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister will visit the BrahMos Russian-Indian joint venture

NEW DELHI, July 17 (Itar-Tass) —— Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin will pay a visit India for the first time after his appointment to this position.

During the trip, he will meet with India’s Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Defence Minister Arakkaparambilom Kurianom Anthony and Minister of Trade and Industry Anand Sharma, and together with Minister of Foreign Affairs Somanahalli Mallaiah Krishna will hold a regular meeting of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technological and cultural cooperation, which he co-chairs.

Representatives of Russian businesses as well as government officials will accompany Dmitry Rogozin - the principal shareholder and COB of AFK Sistema Vladimir Yevtushenkov, Director of the Federal Service on Military-Technical Cooperation Alexander Fomin, First Deputy Director General of Russian Technologies state corporation Alexey Alyeshin, Rosoboronexport’s Director General Anatoly Isaikin, Rosatom State Atomic Energy Corporation’s Director General Sergey Kiriyenko, and President of United Aircraft Corporation Mikhail Pogosyan.

Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister will also visit the BrahMos Russian-Indian joint venture, organised in 1998, which is engaged in work on the eponymous supersonic cruise missile.
