MOSCOW, July 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Police chief of Russia’s southern city of Rostov-on-Don has been killed in a traffic accident, a spokesman for the Russian Investigations Committee said on Sunday.
According to the spokesman, the accident took place at the 26th kilometer of the Rostov-Stavropol highway at about 16:00 Moscow time on Sunday. The Rostov-on-Don police chief was driving a Suzuki motorcycle and collided with a Kamaz truck. The man died instantly.
An investigation is underway.
