Two filling station workers killed, 300,000 roubles stolen in Dagenstan

Before fleeing the scene the attackers set the filling station on fire

MAKHACHKALA, July 15 (Itar-Tass) —— Two workers of a filling station were killed in Russia’s North Caucasian republic of Dagestan, a spokesman for the republican administration of the Russian Investigations Committee told Itar-Tass on Sunday.

According to the spokesman, unidentified persons broke into a filing station on the Makhachkala-Derbent highway some 20 kilometers south of Makhachkala. They two workers were killed from a handgun and stabbed. The attackers took a safe with 300,000 roubles and dismantled the video surveillance cameras. Before fleeing the scene they set the filling station on fire.

An investigation is underway.
