MOSCOW, July 13 (Itar-Tass) — The state program for the development of Russia’s agriculture in the period of 2013-2020 should be adopted before July 15, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev told the government’s meeting on Friday.
“The state program for the country’s agricultural development should be adopted by July 15,” the head of the government set the task.
Russia’s state program for the agricultural sector till the year 2020 will exceed 1.5 trillion roubles, Russian Minister of Agriculture Nikolai Fedorov said on Friday.
“Budgetary financing will reach 1.509 trillion roubles, including 1.413 trillion roubles via the ministry of agriculture, and 85 billion – via the Federal Service foe Veterinary and Phytosanitary Control,” he said at a government meeting.
Apart from that, Russian regions will allocate 770 billion roubles on top of the earlier planned 1.5 trillion roubles to develop the agricultural sector.
