Russian woman injured in bus accident in Ukraine dies in hospital

KIEV, July 13 (Itar-Tass) — A 73-year-old Russian woman, who was badly injured in a road accident in Ukraine on July 7, has died in a hospital in Ukraine’s city of Chernogov, a spokesman for the city administration said on Friday.

Two more Russian women are still at the hospital in Chernigov. Medics say one of them is in condition of moderate gravity, the other one – in serious condition.

On Saturday, July 7, a bus with 41 Russian pilgrims heading from the town of Velikiye Luki in Russia’s Pskov region to Pochayev monastery in Ukraine got into a road accident near the settlement of Krasnoye in the Chernigov-Kiev highway. As many as 14 people died and 29 were injured in the accident. The majority of the injured were taken to hospitals in Moscow and Pskov.
