Putin arrives in Ukraine to meet with Yanukovich and attend session of interstate commission

The session of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission is expected to yield more than a dozen joint documents

SEVASTOPOL, July 12 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday arrived on a working visit to Ukraine.

Putin’s airplane landed in Sevastopol, from where the presidential motorcade set off for the resort city of Yalta, a venue of the fifth session of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission. Before the session, Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Yanukovich will hold a bilateral meeting.
