KHABAROVSK, July 11 (Itar-Tass) — None of the crew and passengers, who were on board a Mi-8 helicopter feared missing because it had no radio contact in the Magadan region , was hurt, the Far Eastern regional department of the Ministry for Emergency Situations told Itar-Tass.
The helicopter crew which was conducting air reconnaissance in the Magadan region safely landed on the "Ozernaya" site. None of the crew was hurt, the source said. There were ten people on board, including four crewmen. The crew failed to establish a radio contact because of a failure of its radio system. the source said. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified.
The helicopter was making a landing approach to let a group of firemen out near a knoll with no radio contact within reach, said a source from the Federal Agency for Forestry.
