MOSCOW, July 11 (Itar-Tass) — Abdelbaset Sayda, Chairman of the Syrian National Council (SNC), told Itar-Tass upon arriving in Moscow that during a meeting with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov here later in the day he would set out a number of propoals on how to settle the crisis in Syria.
"We have arrived here in order to look, together with Russia, for ways leading out of the crisis in Syria," the head of the oppositional Council pointed out. "We have definite proposals and ideas. We want to convey them," he said.
Apart from talks with Lavrov, the SNC delegation is to meet with Mikhail Bogdanov, special presidential representative for the Middle East and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and members of the Federation Council committee on international affairs.
