Budget may lose RUR188bln in 2013 after WTO accession - Belousov

"We proceed from the assumption that real budget losses will be much lower as a result of trade growth," he told

MOSCOW, July 10 (Itar-Tass) — The direct losses of the federal budget from lower import duties after Russia’s accession to the World Trade Organization may reach 188 billion roubles in 2013 and 257 roubles - in 2014, Economic Development Minister Andrei Belousov said on Tuesday presenting the Protocol on Russia’s WTO accession at the State Duma.

“However, we proceed from the assumption that real budget losses will be much lower as a result of trade growth and an increase in the collection of duties that are directly linked with their level,” he said.
