MOSCOW, July 9 (Itar-Tass) — Russia is ready for cancelling visa formalities with the European Union, President Vladimir Putin said.
Meeting Russian ambassadors and permanent representatives on Monday, Putin said the rapprochement between Russia and the European Union “is impossible without such tasks as easier visa formalities.”
“Russia is ready for such step just now,” the Russian president stressed.
