MOSCOW, July 8 (Itar-Tass) — More than 140 people have died in floods in the southern Krasnodar territory, a source at the Russian Interior Ministry crisis management center told Itar-Tass on Sunday.
“The death toll in Krymsk had risen by seven people and reached 130 by 01:00 Moscow time on Sunday. The number of casualties in Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik hasn’t changed: it’s two and nine people, respectively,” the source went on to say.
Thus, the overall death toll is 141 people.
