MOSCOW, July 7 (Itar-Tass) —— The Krasnodar Territory flood death toll has risen to 68.
According to the reports as of 14:00 Moscow time, 68 people died, a Russian Interior Ministry source said.
Only six people asked for medical aid. Three of them were hospitalized, the source said.
Fifty six people died in Krymsk alone. The water rose seven metres there. It is a rural area, mostly with one-story houses. The torrents washed out residential sites and flooded houses. Most residents slept when it happened.
Policemen help people to get down from roofs and trees as the flood has subsided there.
