MOSCOW, July 5 (Itar-Tass) — Russia’s Foreign Ministry has expressed confidence that all participants in Farnborough International Airshow 2012 will get UK visas, the ministry’s spokesman, Alexander Lukashevich, said on Thursday.
“It is really so that although all documents were filed in advance, some Russian delegates planning to participate in Farnborough International Airshow that opens on July 9 have not yet received the UK visas,” he said.
“Unfortunately, this is not the first case, when bureaucratic procrastinations threaten participation of our representatives in international events that Great Britain hosts,” Lukashevich said.
“We keep constant contacts on this issue with Britain both in Moscow and in London,” he said. “We hope that all Russian delegates will get their visas.”
