VLADIVOSTOK, July 5 (Itar-Tass) — Over 370 volunteers from Primorsky Territory, Moscow, Kazan and Sochi will work in Vladivostok at the APEC summit, the Primorsky Territory department for youth affairs said on Thursday.
Totally, 862 applications have been given and 379 people have been chosen as potential volunteers, the department told Itar-Tass. They involve over 100 people from Moscow, a group of volunteers from Kazan-2013 and the volunteer training centres to work at the 22nd Olympic Games and the 9th Paralympic Games in Sochi, the department said.
At the APEC summit due to take place on the Russky Island in the beginning of September volunteers will accompany delegations, organize cultural events and excursions and provide assistance to mass media.
