IRKUTSK, July 3 (Itar-Tass) —— The oil tank fire in underground storage facilities in Angarsk is extinguished.
An oil explosion occurred during the fire-fighting work. Nobody was hurt, the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry's Irkutsk regional department told Itar-Tass.
The information that a 500-cubic-m oil tank caught fire in the area of the Deltacom company in Angarsk was received at about 08:30 local time.
The fire was localized at 09:55 and extinguished at 11:34 local time.
One of the two missing men, an operator, was found alive. He is well. He has been hospitalized. The search for the other is continuing, a source of the press service said.
There is no threat of smoke poisoning for local residents, the source added.
