Robinson 44 helicopter makes hard landing in Bashkortostan

No one was hurt, an investigation is underway

NIZHNY NOVGOROD, July 2 (Itar-Tass) —— A Robinson 44 helicopter with thre persns onboard made a hard landing on a highway in the Tuimazinsky district of the republic of Bashkortostan on Monday. No one was hurt, a spokesman for the Volga transport investigation administration told Itar-Tass.

An investigation is underway.

Another similar incident was reported on Monday in the Orenburg region, where a Mi-2 helicopter with three persons made an emergency landing. The incident took place at about 09:20 local time (07:20 Moscow time) on Monday shortly after the helicopter owned by the Orenburg airport took off from a runway in the Pervomaisky district. According to preliminary data, the pilot detected a malfunction at a height of 15 meters and took a decision to land. After the landing the helicopter caught fire. No one was hurt.
