Spain upholds title of European champion in EURO final match

KIEV, July 2 (Itar-Tass) — Spain has upheld the title of European champion, winning the EURO-2012 final match against Italy, 4-0, here early Monday. The match was played at the Olympiisky Stadium here. In the first half, David Silva was the first to score in the 14th minute. Jordi Alba doubled the score in the 39th minute.

In the srcond half, FernandoTorres slammed in a third goal in the 84th minute and Juan Mata added another one in the 88th minute.
