MOSCOW, July 1 (Itar-Tass) — A passenger bus from the Rostov region collided with a Zhiguli car early on Sunday.
“Eight people were hurt. Two of them died,” a source at the press service of the Southern regional centre of the Russian Ministry for Emergency Situations told Itar-Tass by telephone.
The road accident occurred between the populated localities of Staroderevyanskaya and Leningradskaya on the Krasnodar-Yeisk highway at around one o’clock in the morning on Sunday.
The bus which was on its way from Novoshakhtinsk to the Black Sea resort of Anapa overturned to its side after colliding with a Zhiguli car.
The injured have been taken to a nearby hospital.
Rescuers and road traffic policemen are working at the scene.
