MOSCOW, June 28 (Itar-Tass) — "Russia had never let and would not ever let anyone talking to it in a language of force," President Putin declared at a gala reception in Thursday held in honor of graduates of military academies and military universities.

"The task of the whole military organization of this country is to guarantee peace, ensure protection of Russia's interests and its sovereignty, and promptly and adequately rebuff any threats no matter where they come from," Putin declared.

"Creation of a modern army, strengthening security of our country are our unconditional, common national priorities," Putin said.

"Building up our defense politics we will follow the most modern tendencies in military construction, and on their basis will continue modernization of the Armed Forces and consistently create their new image," Putin said.

Russia 's security does not only depend on the potential of its Armed Forces, but on its law enforcement bodies and secret services as well, which play a very important role in ensuring Russia's security," Putin said.

"Law enforcers and workers of secret services are on the front lines of the struggle against terrorism, extremism, crime, they are vested with responsibility for strengthening stability and law and order in society and effective struggle against corruption," Putin said.

Addressing the graduates of military institutions, Putin suggested a toast, "To Russian Officers; To Our Strong Armed Forces; To Well-being and Prosperity of Our State."
