Russian PM to make working trip to Kiev to discuss bilateral coop'n

Dmitry Medvedev is also to meet with Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovich

MOSCOW, June 26 (Itar-Tass) —— Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will make a working trip to Kiev on Wednesday.

According to a source in the Russian government, Medvedev will take part in the ninth meeting of the Economic Cooperation Committee of the Russian-Ukrainian Interstate Commission which is co-chaired by the heads of government of the two countries. The Russian Premier is also to meet with Ukraine’s President Viktor Yanukovich.

The Committee is to discuss topical matters of interaction in the commercial and economic area, measures to increase reciprocal trade turnover, prospects for co-production arrangements in the power industry, transport, aircraft construction, the space industry, the agri-industrial sector, the credit-and-financial sphere, science and technology, as well as themes of inter-regional and cross-border cooperation.
