Putin recommends searched opposition members to appeal to court if their rights are breached

“Believe it or not, I learned about [the searches] from the media,” the president said

JORDAN, June 26 (Itar-Tass) —— President Vladimir Putin recommends opposition members, whose homes have been searched, to appeal to court if their rights are violated.

“Believe it or not, I learned about [the searches] from the media,” he said. “If there is no breach of law that is OK. If there are violations, they must be investigated. If these people think their rights are violated, they should appeal to court.”

The government still needs to upgrade the judiciary; “this is the path of evolution of all structures in our society,” he said.
