Thirty seven Samara region servicemen hospitalized on suspicion of pneumonia

SAMARA, June 26 (Itar-Tass) — Thirty seven servicemen in the Samara region have been hospitalized on suspicion of pneumonia, Yaroslav Roshchupkin, and aide to the commander of the Central Military District /TsVO/, told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.

The first complaints in the 23rd motorized infantry brigade were reported last week. Of the 37 patients, three are in "medium severity condition," doctors said. All the necessary medical assistance is being provided to the soldiers. The diagnosis has been confirmed for several servicemen. A TsVO commission is running a check at the motorized infantry brigade following the outbreak of pneumonia.
