Moscow police confiscates firearms from private security firm

Police have held a probe into people’s complaints against legal abuse by Ayaks-Inter personnel against them

MOSCOW, June 23 (Itar-Tass) —— The Moscow police are confiscating firearms from the private security firm Ayaks-Inter, affiliated with the security firm Oskord, the Interior Ministry’s press-center said.

“Police have held a probe into people’s complaints against legal abuse by Ayaks-Inter personnel against them. The inquiry exposed fifteen violations concerning the keeping of firearms.

“Under the applicable legislation a decision has been made to annul the permission to keep and use firearms, issued to the security firm. The weapons are being confiscated. The inquiry is proceeding,” the official said.
