ST. PETERSBURG, June 21 (Itar-Tass) —— The Russian government will continue to sell its stake in rail transport companies. Thus, it plans to sell the controlling stake in two subsidiaries of the national railway operator Russian Railways, TransConrainer and Roszheldorproject, Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov said on Thursday.
“It will be done in the foreseeable future,” he said at a business breakfast within the framework of the Petersburg international economic forum.
“I full support the idea of the state’s maximal withdrawal from non-strategic assets,” he stressed.
