LOS CABOS, June 20 (Itar-Tass) — A Russian delegation to the opening of the Olympic Games in London will be led by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. However, Russian President Vladimir Putin also intends to travel to the British capital to watch judo competitions.
"The Russian delegation at the opening of the Olympic Games will be headed by Chairman of Government Dmitry Medvedev," Putin said. "However, I, most likely, will also travel to the Olympics," he pointed out. "I would like to see judo competitions," the President specified.
Putin said he told UK Prime Minister David Cameron about that during their meeting at the G20 summit. "Maybe, we shall see each other there," Putin presumed. "In any case, that will be a private trip," the President added.
