LOS CABOS, Mexico, June 20 (Itar-Tass) — Russia will take countermeasures if the so-called Magnitsky Act is adopted in the United States, Russian President Vladimir Putin said here in response to a question put by an Itar-Tass correspondent at a news conference on the results of the G20 summit.
"If the that law is adopted and if Russian citizens' entry into the US are restricted, that would entail respective restrictions on entry into Russia for a certain number of US citizens," he said. "If someone does that, it means that that would be done and that it would not be a choice of ours," Putin added.
