MOSCOW, June 19 (Itar-Tass) — Helicopters have confined a fire at warehouses in northern Moscow, the city fire department told Itar-Tass.
“The fire has stopped spreading. It is confined on 1,000 square meters,” it said.
The fire broke out in a two-story ferroconcrete industrial building at 4, Ilmensky Passage. The firefighting continues. Four helicopters, including three Kamov Ka-32 and the largest firefighting helicopter Mil Mi-26, continue to dump water. “Fifty water dumpings have been done as yet,” the department said.
