MOSCOW, June 16 (Itar-Tass) —— Several people were detained for an unsanctioned meeting near the Investigative Committee (SK) building in Moscow, the city police press service told Itar-Tass.

The people detained for the unsanctioned action at Tekhnichesky Street were taken to a police office. They will be brought to administrative responsibility, a police source said.

Under the new law on rallies, heavy fines may be imposed on the activists.

Some opposition activists this Saturday have staged individual picketing at the Investigative Committee office to express support for those arrested over the case of the May 6 Bolotnaya Square disorders.

Some activists were detained when the action began. Some pickets remain at the site. The situation is calm.

Opposition activists say they will organize OccupySK picketing every Saturday.
