One fire-fighter, injured in northeastern Moscow, dies in ambulance

MOSCOW, June 16 (Itar-Tass) —— One of the two fire-fighters, injured while dealing with a blaze in northeastern Moscow, has died, medical sources told Itar-Tass.

“The firefighter died in an ambulance vehicle of wounds incompatible with life,” the agency’s source said.

The other injured firefighter was delivered to hospital.

“A fire in an office building in 1st Rizhsky Pereulok street caused the roof to cave in. Two firefighters were hurt,” the Moscow office of the Emergency Situations Ministry told Itar-Tass earlier.

The fire affected an area of 1,500 square meters. It has been eliminated.
