MOSCOW, June 14 (Itar-Tass) — If the peace plan of UN-Arab League envoy is disrupted, this will happen through fault of the West, Syrian ambassador to Russia Riyad Haddad told a news conference on Thursday.

“We do not say just now that the Kofi Annan plan has been disrupted. But if this happens, western countries - the United States, France, Britain and Turkey, who do not help to fulfil this plan to the end – are to blame,” he said.

“We welcome Russia’s intention to convene an international conference on Syria,” Haddad said. “In this we see unconditional assistance to the fulfillment of the Annan plan.”
