MOSCOW, June 12 (Itar-Tass) —— Alexei Navalny, an opposition activist and the founder of the Rospil anti-corruption foundation, was summoned for more interrogation at the Russian Investigations Committee on June 13, Navalny’s lawyer Vadim Kobzev told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“Tomorrow, Navalny was summoned for interrogation at 11:00 a.m. Moscow time,” Kobzev said. In his words, on Tuesday investigators searched the office of Navalny’s foundation for three hours.
“They seized neither computers nor documents, and seized only a mobile telephone from Navalny’s room, several discs and digital media storage devices,” the lawyer said.
Navalny was taken to his foundation after an interrogation session at the Investigations Committee. The interrogation lasted for about six hours and proceeded smoothly, his other lawyer, Olga Mikhailova said. “His status of a witness has not been changed,” she noted.
On Tuesday, Navalny was summoned to be interrogated as witness in the case of clashes during a March of Millions in Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square on May 6.
