MOSCOW, June 12 (Itar-Tass) —— After an interrogation at the Russian Investigations Committee, Alexei Navalny, an opposition activist and the founder of the Rospil anti-corruption foundation, was taken to his organization’s office to make a search in his presence, Navalny’s lawyer Olga Mikhailova said on Tuesday.
According to Mikhailova, the six-hour interrogation proceeded with no incidents, with Navalny answering the investigator’s questions. “His status of a witness has not been changed,” she noted.
On Tuesday, Navalny was summoned to be interrogated as witness in the case of clashes during a March of Millions in Moscow’s Bolotnaya Square on May 6.
