MOSCOW, June 12 (Itar-Tass) —— The steering committee of the opposition March of Millions will fix the date and the format of elections to a common opposition body next week, lawmaker from the Russian State Duma lower parliament house Ilya Ponomaryov told Itar-Tass on Tuesday.
“A Manifesto of Free Russia adopted at today’s opposition rally provides for elections of a coordinating council that will represent the opposition and will take over the responsibility for further protest actions. The steering committee of the March of Millions will meet next week to set the date of voting to be held via the Internet,” he said and added that the elections will be direct.
