NALCHIK, June 10 (Itar-Tass) —— The car of a federal security service officer was blown up in Baksan, Kabardino-Balkaria, at 23:00 Moscow time on Saturday, the republic’s Investigative Committee office told Itar-Tass. The FSB major was taken to hospital, where he died of wounds.
“The man walked out of a billiard room in Ugnich street and got into his Chevy-Niva car. At that moment the bomb went off,” a spokesman for the investigation said.
Detectives are examining the scene.
